Plot: This film is based on the first novel to feature John Carter "A Princess of Mars". John Carter is a former American Civil War Confederate Army captain who is mysteriosly transported to mars, which to its population it is known as Barsoon. John Carter and and Barsoon's intelligent inhabitants sets out to try and save the planet from extinction because it is running out of water and atmosphere.
