Dark of the Moon is a science fiction film based on the Transformers toy line. This action packed movie has an amazing lineup of Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Carly Spencer), John Turturro (Seymour Simmons), Tyrese Gibson (USAF Chief), Josh Duhamel (US Army Lt.Colonel), Patrick Dempsy (Dylan Gould), Frances McDormand (Director of National Intelligence) and John Malkovich (Bruce Brazos). Megan Fox was originally casted in the first and second Transformers but to a personal grudge between her and director/producer Michael Bay he replaced her with supermodel Rosie Huntigton.

In 1961 a space craft crash landed on the Dark side of the Moon that was carrying a device that could end the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The crash was detected by NASA so unknowningly what it was they made it a mission to get there before the russians. In the present day the Autobots fight side by side with the humans and found out about 1961 so they went to the moon to retrieve the ship (The Ark) along with its captain Sentinel Prime who was the only one that could operate the device that can create a space bridge between two points in the universe that can teleport matter.

While the Autobots were trying to protect Sentinel from the Decepticons they didn't realise that Sentinel had made a deal with the Megatron (Depticon) that he would us the space bridge to try and rebuild there doomed planet Cybertron to save there race. Sentinel uses the teleporter to bring hundreds more Decpticons to earth. Threaten to destroy earth the Autobots were exiled for our planet which supposedly killed by Megatrons second in command Starscream. They took over Chicago that no air force could get through so they could us the pillars to teleport there planet Cybertron into Earths atmosphere so they could us humanity as slaves to rebuild their world.

While the USAF were trying to sneak their way into Chicago they were almost killed but the Autobots intervened showing they had hidden themselves in a secret part of the ship to trick megatron into thinking that they were dead. While fighting through an intense battle they finally make it to the space bridge which was controlled by one pillar so if they destroyed that they would prevent it all from happening. Optimus blasts the control pillar with Sock-waves arm cannon but Sam stops Gould before he can react the control and then Bumbleee and Rachet destroy it. Sentinel and Optimus fight which leads Optimus with one arm then Megatron intervenes to stop Sentinel so he can take command again but Optimus with one arm decapitates Megatron and then terminates Sentinel for betraying the Autobots. With Cybertron now destroyed the Autobots now realise that earth is their new home.
