The Avengers is a Superhero Movie based on the Marvel Comics superhero team. This blockbuster has a strong cast of Robert Downey Jr ( Ironman ), Chris Evans ( Captain America ), Mark Ruffalo ( Dr Bruce Banner ), Chris Hemsworth ( Thor ), Scarlett Johanson ( Black Widow ), Jeremy Renner ( Hawkeye ), Samuel L Jackson ( Nick Fury ), Tom Hiddleston ( Loki ) and Cobie Smulders ( Maria Hill ).

When the world feels threatened from Loki and his army they turn too Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) director of international peace keeping agency S.H.I.E.L.D who has no option but to put together a team of superheroes gathered from all over the world to stop the destruction of the human race. S.H.I.E.L.D ( Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate ) is a secret military law-enforcement agency for the protection of mankind.

On a budget of €220 million filming began in April 2011 Albuquerque, New Mexico then continued August 2011 Cleveland, Ohio and New York City. Filming also took place in NASA Plum Brook Station near Sandusky, Ohio. The space power facility was used for the S.H.I.E.L.D research faciity.
This massive blockbuster packed with edge of your seat action and amazing special affects will be at your local cinemas by summer 2012 and will surely be an unmissable movie for everybody in the family.
